Your summer spirit is just about to ramp up. Today marks the launch of Palm Springs, our second collection of the season.
Our design team asked a very crucial question for crazy times: What would be summer’s greatest luxury? The answer was easy – it was rest. Phone ringing, emails piling up and alarms clanging are daily interruptions all too familiar for most of us. One ocean and two coasts away, we’ve found a fresh new pace of life – a relaxation and an escapism we had to unleash.
Taking inspiration from our North American neighbours, we’re encouraging you to treat yourself to a little dessert daring, a lot of sun, and ignore the chores of life for the next few weeks. Even if that just means five minutes more in bed, or a no phone zone at home, we insist.
Inspired by a meandering stroll through the Coachella Valley, our upcoming flowers will inspire relaxation as they reflect the dusty pastel hues of desert sunsets and embrace powerful pops of palms and pinks, to give you modern botanicals with a trend-led twist.
Like a breath of fresh air, Palm Springs will bring a new wave of wonder and whatever the weather – this is the UK, after all – our pick of Californian hues will bring a burst of brilliance. We’ve chosen heroes like powerfully pink roses with their depths of velvety petals, huge spires of dusty blue delphiniums and stems of delicately detailed dahlias. Set against deep green foliage these flirty florals pop.
The result? A colourful confection poised and ready to incite Instagram-envy and a little distraction from the mundane.
