It's the time of year for long summer tables, set with your most beautiful crockery and of course a beautiful bouquet as finishing touch. Let us give you some summer inspiration!
Colour your summer
Whether it's breakfast on your balcony, a long dinner table in the garden or a cute picnic in the park, this season calls for colour! Our style director Ferdinand shares: “Whatever colour palette you go for, choose shades that evoke the summer feeling in you. We have opted for soft sorbet colours featuring lots of peaches and light yellows. The purple accents gives the bunch a sweet touch – sort of like the feeling you get with a fresh mocktail in hand on a sunny terrace.”

Whimsical glassware
“We are seeing a lot of decoration and glassware in organic, whimsical shapes at the moment, which is a nod to the flower power era of the late sixties and early seventies. Transparent glassware gives your decoration a light and balanced look. You can never have enough glassware and there are so many ways to go with it. Go for abundance with different colours and shapes or opt for harmony with similarly coloured decorative pieces. With a simple linen tablecloth as your base, you have the ideal canvas to play with.”

A flower moment
What is a set table without summer flowers? Summer brings with it the most beautiful, colourful flowers. Go for an eye-catching bunch in the middle of the table or drape a garland of (dried) flowers over your set table. Perhaps you are longing for an exotic holiday? Decorate with botanical foliage by placing deep green monstera leaves or strelitzia leaves on the table. Keep a close eye on our floral shop. You will find plenty of summer flowers in our bouquets that are just perfect for your summer table decoration. From the poppy to the eremurus: we have a lot of colourful things up our sleeve for you this summer…
